It's been two weeks now since I moved into the van full-time, and it's been pretty awesome. There are still some mechanical issues to work out, but just spending time in it and sleeping have been a great learning experience.

Sometime last week I saw a post on Instagram about a vanlife meetup being planned for Angus, Ontario. I've been staying in Aurora, so Angus is only about an hour away. At the time, the van was parked at my grandparent's house while we worked on the roof and floor, so I sent my RSVP.

I picked up the van from Canadian Tire the Friday of the Canada Day long weekend. The weather was hella hot and humid, but that didn't stop work on the van. First order of business was to get the old and broken Fantastic Fan removed, and replaced with the Maxxair vent I'd purchased for the Astro.
