I did it. I really did it.

Well. I DID IT. After YEARS of dreaming, tears, frustration, disappointment, and yearning… I made the leap.

Meet Thelma, my (MY) 1989 Roadtrek Popular 190. She originally belonged to a woman named Thelma-Louise at the RV dealer I bought her on consignment today. I’m sure Thelma will see plenty of adventures in the near future.

A winterized camper, she has:
- swivel captains chairs in front
- a bench seat behind that with storage under the seat
- dual side doors
- a swivel table to seat 3
- a full kitchen, with fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave and sink with a water pump
- oh, and a 1 piece bathroom
- full-length wardrobe
- storage EVERYWHERE
- a full dinette in the back, which converts into one mega king size bed
- original paint, with only a couple rust chips on the hood
- furnace
- air conditioner
- fantastic fan
- brand new teal awning
- purrs like a kitten

IT IS PERFECT!

Road treks are very expensive, so I never thought I’d have one. And now I do. I pick her up at the end of September after being certified.

So yeah - gonna live in my van.
