First Trip

Not long ago, I took the van on its first road trip!

I'd been looking for something to keep food cold in - a propane fridge was top choice, but I couldn't find any used for a decent price. I came across an ad on Kijiji for a Coleman Powerchill cooler. It runs on 12V power as well as AC. Perfect! I called the number and the seller is up near Sutton on Lake Simcoe. I asked the sister in law if she wanted to go for a drive and she was all in!

I picked up the cooler in sight of Lake Simcoe. We drove down a block to the water's edge and parked. It was pay parking, I believe by the Town of Georgina. 

We had some delicious ice cream and took the baby for her first dip in the lake. Naturally, she only had eyes for The Hippie Van. Naturally!

After we packed up, we took Lake Drive south along the lake towards Keswick. There were some obstacles in the way... Luckily, SIL is an expert goose-chaser and guided them to safety across the road.
